Unit 39 November Deer Archery: 2026 Guide
Check Idaho Unit 39 November archery dates, the white-tailed deer tag, and important boundary restrictions.
Idaho Fish and Game lists a November 10–30, 2026 general archery opportunity for antlered or antlerless white-tailed deer in a portion of Unit 39 for the white-tailed deer tag. It is not open throughout the entire unit, and it is not a mule-deer opportunity. Read the official hunt description before planning a trip.
Where does this hunt apply?
The agency excludes the portion of Unit 39 within Ada County and an additional area described by roads, waterways and Highway 21. The description is detailed; consult the official hunt page for the complete boundary rather than relying on a simplified map outline. When checked November 1, the agency's page said mapping for this hunt area was in progress. A general unit boundary is not proof a particular location is inside this hunt area.
Which deer and equipment?
The official entry specifies the white-tailed deer tag, white-tailed deer of either sex, and archery only. Other Unit 39 hunts may have different areas, tags, weapons and dates. The agency also warns that an any-weapon hunt will be open at the same time in the unit. Check the hunt details, all applicable rules and current agency notices for your own circumstances.
Plan a responsible November trip
- Confirm the exact hunt entry and your license, tag and eligibility.
- Compare the official written boundary with your intended location; if it is unclear, ask the regional office before hunting.
- Check legal shooting hours, access permissions, land-manager restrictions, weather and road conditions.
