Eastern Idaho — Wildlife Management Area
Tex Creek is anchored by the Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area east of Idaho Falls. The zone is known for big mule deer and consistent elk presence on the WMA winter range — but most of that winter range is closed to motorized access during the late season.
Idaho Falls is the supply hub. Read the WMA seasonal closure rules carefully — they shape the entire late-season strategy.
