Wilson Springs North Pond

A 7-acre pond in the Wilson Springs complex near Nampa. Offers an easy way to experience nature with paved pathways and docks. Family Fishing Water with trout limit of 2. Heavily stocked year-round with rainbow trout. Bass and panfish also available.

Species: Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Pumpkinseed. Difficulty: beginner. Approachable for first-timers and families.

Best timing: Spring and Summer and Fall and Winter. Spring fishing keys on warming water and emerging insects. Summer fishes best at first light and late evening; midday is technical. Fall is prime — heavy feeding before winter, fewer crowds. Winter access is for dedicated anglers; ice conditions vary year to year.
