Kelly Park Pond

A tiny 0.9-acre pond in the Bear River drainage, heavily stocked with rainbow trout from May through August. Perfect for a quick fishing trip with consistent stocking every few weeks during the season.

Species: Rainbow Trout. Difficulty: beginner. Approachable for first-timers and families.

Best timing: Spring and Summer. Spring fishing keys on warming water and emerging insects. Summer fishes best at first light and late evening; midday is technical.
