Edson Fichter Pond

3-acre community pond in Pocatello heavily stocked with rainbow trout including trophies and even yellow 'banana' trout for fun. Hundreds of 6 lb average trout stocked. Fishing docks and trails. Lunkers possible.

Species: Rainbow Trout. Difficulty: beginner. Approachable for first-timers and families.

Best timing: Spring and Fall. Spring fishing keys on warming water and emerging insects. Fall is prime — heavy feeding before winter, fewer crowds.
