The Magic Valley is geology you can drive through — flood basalts, lava tubes, and pressure ridges left by the Yellowstone hotspot. Most routes are non-technical but surface-sensitive: sharp lava and fast-changing mud after rain. Twin Falls, Hagerman, Burley, and Arco are the staging points.
