Rim Runner

Rim Runner is in an open OHV area with many unmarked/unnamed roads/trails. This route runs near the rim of the Snake River Gorge. Magic Valley context

The Magic Valley is geology you can drive through — flood basalts, lava tubes, and pressure ridges left by the Yellowstone hotspot. Most routes are non-technical but surface-sensitive: sharp lava and fast-changing mud after rain. Twin Falls, Hagerman, Burley, and Arco are the staging points.

Best for drivers who understand their vehicle and the cost of a mistake in remote country.
