Unit 29 Boundary
That portion of LEMHI COUNTY within the Lemhi River drainage south and west of State Highway 28 and that portion of the Salmon River drainage east of the Salmon River from the Salmon River bridge in the City of Salmon upstream to and including the Poison Creek drainage.

East-Central Idaho — Lemhi Range
The Lemhi zone covers the high, dry country between the Lemhi and Lost River Ranges, with broad valleys and steep mountain flanks. Elk populations are healthy and visibility is good — a glass-and-stalk zone more than a brush-busting zone.
Salmon is the closest supply town. Many roads cross BLM-private mosaic; check ownership before scouting.
